The Artistic Team

Every Sånafest the Artistic Team creates a program consisting of curated events and works selected from an international Open Call. Performances, installations, concerts and most of all the journey between all these, are creatively thought through sown to every detail. All the members of the Team also have important additional roles in the board as well as administrative and technical team, and plays a big role in making the festival transform from a dream into reality.

Hver Sånafest setter Kunstnerisk Ledelse sammen et unikt program bestående av forestilliger, installasjoner, konserter og ikke minst det som foregår i mellomrommene. Programmet lages gjennom en grundig kurateringsprosess i samspill med en internasjonal Open Call. Alle medlemmer av rådet har i tillegg sentrale roller i styret, administrative og tekniske team, og en uunnværlig rolle i hvordan festivalen blir til virkelighet.


Thea Færden Bringsværd     Thea has her education from Norges Dansehøyskole with a BA in Contemporary Dance (2008) and a MA from Nordic Master of Arts in Dance studies at NTNU (2015). She had the privilege of choreographing for and working with Epic Encounters, South East Asia's first and only inclusive dance company, as part of her MA thesis. She is currently working full time as a producer for Scenekunst Østfold, and as a freelance dance artist. In collaboration with Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass she established Treskeverket Kulturproduksjoner in 2019, with a base at Skjeggeby gård in Sarpsborg. Treskeverkets first public art event was “Lysdrypp” in Vestby, a day with a focus on light art and ice music.

She initiated Sånafest as Sontidsdans in 2013. Since then she has worked as a freelance choreographer and performer based in Oslo, Norway. Choreographically she explores how to intervene with people’s daily lives by making public spaces a stage for performances. Ingvild is currently collaborating with choreographer Masako Matsushita in the artistic duo A MasIng Productions and is a performer with the interdisciplinary Kompani F in Oslo.  www.ingvildisaksen.com

Ingvild Isaksen

Ingvild has a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music & Dance in London (2012) and is currently studying MA Scenography at The Norwegian Theatre Academy. She initiated Sånafest as Sontidsdans in 2013. Since then she has worked as a freelance choreographer and performer based in Oslo, Norway. Choreographically she explores how to intervene with people’s daily lives by making public spaces a stage for performances. Ingvild is currently collaborating with choreographer Masako Matsushita in the artistic duo A MasIng Productions and is a performer with the interdisciplinary Kompani F in Oslo. www.ingvildisaksen.com

Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass     Mikkel has his education from the Bergen Academy of Art and Design with a bachelor's degree in visual arts, and a bachelor's degree in acting from the Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad. He is a visual artist that works at the intersection between performance, installation art, sculpture and performing arts, with focus on the space and installations in the meeting with the performative. Among different projects with an interest to create arenas and meeting places in the public space, he was one of the founders/managers of the open stage project “Kunstresepsjonen” in Fredrikstad. He is part of the theater company Talking Timber, as well as Treskeverket Kulturproduksjoner in collaboration with dance artist Thea Færden Bringsværd, with a base at Skjeggeby gård in Sarpsborg. Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass

Today he is a music and performance artist with the band Madamamwe y Los Mas Baratos, as well as videographer and music composer in various projects.
