The artistic team

Each festival year the Artistic Council create a programme consisting of both curated events and usually works selected from an international Open Call for submissions. All members of the council in addition to the board and administrative and technical teams have important additional roles in making the festival a reality.

Kunstnerisk Råd

Hvert år skaper Kunstnerisk Råd et program som består av forestillinger og verk valgt ut gjennom en grundig kurateringsprosess og ofte en internasjonal Open Call. Alle medlemmer av rådet har i tillegg sentrale roller i styret, administrative og tekniske team, og en uunnværlig rolle i hvordan festivalen blir til virkelighet.


  Thea Færden Bringsværd    Festival Director    Thea has her education from Norges Dansehøyskole with a BA in Contemporary Dance (2008) and a MA from Nordic Master of Arts in Dance studies at NTNU (2015). In recent years she has focused on inclusive arts projects in Berlin and Kampot, and had the privilege of choreographing for and working with Epic Encounters, South East Asia's first and only inclusive dance company, as part of her MA thesis. Thea was involved in establishing the professional interest group Dansekunst in Østfold, for which she served as chairperson from 2012-13. She is a freelance dance artist, producer and teacher, working with Hildergeit produksjoner in collaboration with Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass. In Germany she has performed in   bis man den Menschen trifft   and   GRAU   by Karina Suarez Bosche, and has toured in Norway with productions for Den Kulturelle Skolesekken including   Sofasamfunn   by/with Komma Danseteater and   Koffertmysteriet   by Støv Productions.

Marketing manager    Ingvild has a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music & Dance in London (2012) as well as training in fine arts and design from Oslo and Akershus University College (2009). She initiated Sånafest as Sontidsdans in 2013. Since then she has worked as a freelance choreographer and performer based in Oslo, Norway. Choreographically she explores how to intervene with people’s daily lives by making public spaces a stage for performances  .   Ingvild is currently collaborating with choreographer Masako Matsushita in the artistic duo A MasIng Productions and is a performer with the interdisciplinary Kompani F in Oslo. She has previously performed in works by Matteo Fargion, Ina Dokmo, Clare Daly, Kosugi Daisuke, Dromedar, Aisan Hoss, Punchdrunk and Mia Habib. Mikkel Rasmussen Hofplass

He is based in Berlin/Fredrikstad and works at the intersection between performance, installation art, sculpture and performing arts with focus on the space and installations in the meeting with the performative.   Andreas Strand Renberg    Project Manager Radio Såna, Communications Manager.    Andreas Strand Renberg is trained in clowning at the Swiss school   Scuola Teatro Dimitri. Andreas Strand Renberg

Andreas Strand Renberg is trained in clowning at the Swiss school Scuola Teatro Dimitri. He has his background from the street theatre company Stella Polaris and from the global sailing circus Zirk Mir (Sirkusseilerne NRK). Today he teaches at Vestby Kulturskole as well as composing music and performing with the band Madamamwe y Los Mas Baratos
