[ot-er] is a series of sound recordings made in an old fisherman cabin shared by a sound recordist, and a otter witch have settled under the floor. This project is an attempt to archive the presence of this animal and its companions. It is also an invitation into a single and intimate listening time. The recorder have been running continuously during days and nights for many weeks and none of these recordings have been edited. This raw material is an open space for the curiosity of listening and a potential frame to hear the spontaneous sound of a wild animal.

The installation is running continuously from 10:00 to 22:00 every day during the festival. [ot-er] is available for one person at the time only. You are kindly requested to reserve a time-slot at the DRYPP-cabin in advance. Each slot starts every half an hour (9:00, 9:30, 10:00,… 21:00, 21:30).
[ot-er] is a time-based sound installation, so you are very welcome to book several time-slots during the festival at different times of the day.

In Hølen this installation is experienced in a small boathouse with a view of Såna and everything that lives there.
